Nine Months to One Year Old

At nine months, cut up foods from all food groups. as per the Nunavut Food Guide.

By the time baby is a year old they should eat foods from all four food groups plus breast milk.

Do not give babies these foods:

  • Low iron formula
  • Tea or coffee
  • Cow's milk before 12 months old
  • Sweet drinks—pop, fruit drinks, punches, crystals
  • Sweet foods—honey, Jello, candy
